Genworth New York - Policy Updates

On April 4th, Genworth is introducing 2 new products in NY, The first is PCFlex 3, which many other states have had for awhile and a new Partnership policy NYP Enhanced.

The rates of Enhanced are about 100% higher than the present rates are at age 40 and the % of increase goes up at older ages.

In NY, for the Partnership we're left with only 2 carriers: Genworth & Mass Mutual. Mass Mutual only offers 2 of the 6 Partnership plans (2/2 & 4/4)

Interesting times ahead for the sustainability for the NYSP.............

NY, CA, IN and CT need to get their sh*t together.
40 other states offer great LTCP policies.

And, NY & IN offers 100% asset production (along with Dollar-for Dollar).

I'd guess that in NY 95% of policies sold since the Partnership's inception have been the 100% option.

Maybe Genworth should get their sh*t together?
