Your current upline has already shown you how much they value you and your team. Why give him another bite of the apple? You will not truly be independent if you are part of his agency. What if he or his bosses choose to not release you today or next year?

That's what I'm thinking. Just afraid to lose the renewals I've built up. I'm vested but I'm afraid of being screwed over.

Are you paid direct from the companies or from the agency?

Even if you lose the renewals. How much bigger will the loss be 5 years, 10 years from now. How fast can you replace the renewal income simply with the extra comp?

Own your own Chit. Or someone else owns it.

I received some small renewals or probably service fees today on some term I wrote many years ago. I am sure it was with some agency I have dealt with for decades.

Never let someone else hold the keys to your future.
