Gitomers New Book

Most of the motivational / sales books all say the same basics.

Gitomer's just say it with less fluff.

Rob...no offense...but your avatar reminds me of a Hasslehoff video.

That was the original name too, I'm sure you figured that out, LOL

I want the first copy, for retail okay?

For an extra $100 I will autograph it.

I am thinking of sellyoura$.com or similar. Has a good ring to it.

Kind of designer "gas station attire", I'm thinkin.

It definitely smacks of some in-your-face confidence to wear such a thing while speaking to a group of professional folks. Certainly a bit of a brand, or trade statement, if you will. Different, to say the least.

If someone looking like him came to my door, he would not get in. If I were at a seminar where the presenter stood up looking like this I would leave. Who is he kidding?

So far, at least one person hasn't liked each avatar I've put up here. Man, so many critics, and hey at least you picked the Hasselhoff era when chicks thought he was hot!!

What if he came to fix your car?

I was not saying your avatar is bad...it is was the background that reminded me of the video. You will never please everyone on this board...but that keeps it interesting.

As for Gitomer...I think his shirt keeps his image in your mind. If he was in a shirt / tie / jacket...his face would be lost in the mix

I agree, he's the sales mechanic, he fixes your sales!

Ah, yes, the floating background images, makes sense.

Rob,
I was saying I just get tired of the pep talks that are in every "sales" book.... i don't even buy them anymore. I have made a million, but definitely not in insurance or public sales. I made it in industrial machinery and robotics, this is your world... and I'm just learning, I do know that I enjoy getting up in the morning and going to work now. First time in a LONG time that I can say that.

thanks for the help!
