GlobalGreen Insurance: Information Needed

Has anyone in the forum heard about or know more information about GlobalGreen Insurance agency? I'm new to the insurance industry and I am in the process of starting my own independent agency.

GlobalGreen is a franchise operation out of Missouri (part of Equity One Franchisors) that gives independent brokers access to major carriers without a lot of the headaches such as setting minimums for gross annual premiums, etc. GlobalGreen has agreements with some major players (Travelers, Safeco, The Hartford, AIG, Chubb to name a few) which makes them very attractive to a small agency like mine.

However, the trade off is that you have to pay a substantial fee for the franchise upfront, plus they take a cut from your commission.

Have any agents used GlobalGreen before or are working with them right now? Can anyone provide some more insight for me? Are there any other companies that have a similar business model to GlobalGreeen? All the research I have done so far has shown this company to be legitimate, but I want to hear what the people in the field have to say about this company.

Any information you can provide will be very helpful to me.

Thanks,

Depends on how much you like taking your marching orders from an University of Phoenix grad. That, and what are you getting for that substantial fee and cut in commission? Hopefully more than just a franchise of a name that has no name recognition.
