I still get their mailers, but they slowed the frequency down dramatically after I ripped up the sample AARP card and mailed it back in the reply envelope.

They don't always supply a postage paid envelope, but when they do, I also tear it up and send it back to them......along with as much scrap paper as I can cram in that envelope!!! I have to tape it.

That Globe Life biz doesn't involve an agent. It's done by mail/phone.

They still employ telesales agents who have to be licensed. I think they’re paid hourly plus bonus based on production. So you should feel a little guilty for wasting their time, but only a little. Here’s their job posting for inside agent.

I recently submitted to get what I thought would be an instant quote from AAA, only to have an agent call the next day. I did feel guilty about that, but I still got the quote I was after. I hope she didn’t have to pay for the lead!
