Google Page Rank seems to be a huge buzz word when I speak to individuals about their sites.
Everyone seems to think Page Rank is the ultimate measure of a sites "Authority and Relevance".
Google has recently removed the Page Rank stats from its Google Webmaster Accounts, and that should tell you something right away. Does not Tell the "Whole Truth"
They (Certain individuals at Google) have tried to get the PR removed from the Google tool bar, but the powers to be, said its too much of a "Branding Factor" for Google.
The bottom line, dont focus on a sites PR, I have many "so called" PR 1 sites ranking ahead of PR 3 and 4 sites for very relevant - highly competitive searched phrases.
Just focus on Good Unique Relevant Information (content) on your site, that is focused around the "Targeted Keyword Phrases" and continue to promote and build "Authority" on those targeted Phrases and you will Succeed!!
