What are some of the better options here...? I've heard Settlers name mentioned before but I don't have them.

So who else would you use? Granny is thinking just 10K face, but if reasonable and in her budget she should buy more. No health issues for Child. I suppose her Parent/Guardian would need to sign as well in addition to Owner...?

If Settlers is in your state, now might be a good time to get in touch with Newby and pick them up.. Their product fits this situation perfectly.. They will let the grandparent buy it without the parent's signature as long as they have knowledge of the child's health..
