Great Healthcare Reform Timeline Doc

We've all read umpteen articles about it but I wanted to share a great document courtesy of Lincoln Financial Group that does a really good job laying out the timeline and provisions for HCR. Use it, read it share it with clients. Enjoy...

How is it that 4 years after the implementation of ObamaCare, the United States of America is still ranked as DEAD LAST in healthcare quality?

Story: Health survey ranks U.S. last among rich peers

In fact, I think the survey results this year are worse than they were before Obamacare/ACA was signed into law in 2010.

Should the United States retain the "working" parts of our system, and replace the dysfunctional parts with what's working in England, which is the #1 country in patient satisfaction.

medicare for all train is a coming.... cant wait.... med supps and mapd for all americans

Amazingly, you are probably correct although there is no guarantee that the oop max will be high enough to warrant the purchase of a supplement.

If Medicare is bleeding red at an average expenditure of about $11K a year, I suspect it will take about $5-7K to cover younger people. The question will be how to fund this program.

It will force low paid to spend a much higher percentage of their income for health care. For filthy rich people like you, it will hardly be a pimple on your income.

Should it be "the rich will pay for the middle class and poor," then it's really Medicaid for all. Well, except those people who pay the bulk of the taxes.

Here we go again another Macroeconomist, worried how we will fund it.:goofy:

Duh...We're gonna fund it by holding car washes and having Rick go on the corner in his pretty yellow sun dress holding a sign.
