I have a referral for ACA that I will speak to on Monday

However I am told she is trying to decide if she should do ACA or group through her buis, which she has a quote for
However her buis is only her and her daughter are partners no employees

I was told for me I would need to have a few employees to buy ins, as a group from the buis

Am I missing something? or has something changed? can someone get group with only 2 owners now?
Is this just state specific, this is SC

You can def do a 2 person groups in SC. BCBS even allows 1 person "group" plans now.

vic120, yes, there are group plans that will go down to 2 lives in SC both fully insured and self-funded. Each state is different.

No one can determine if competitive until you request a quote.

Hope this helps.

Generally, for group health insurance, you typically need more than just the business owners usually at least one employee. However, some states or insurers may offer exceptions for small businesses, especially if it's just the owners and a family member, like in this case with the daughter.
