Has Anyone Had a Gerber GI Issued Yet?

I haven't wrote a deal with them yet but have heard the process of getting appointed includes submitting business with your contract. Has anyone went through the process yet that can tell us about how long it takes to get the first policy issued and any other information that may be helpful?

It has taken a while to get some of the policies issued, but they are starting to get up to speed now.

I think it's just a matter of not knowing what they were jumping into and thinking they did know. Even an old dog like Gerber is having to learn some new tricks since they've come to to independent side.
