What is the best health insurance cluster to join?
I am currently in P&C and have a lot of clients looking for health insurance. I also have my health license.

Marketplace mastery and ACA training ground on Facebook. Not many aca agents on this forum.

Or, I don't what you mean by cluster.

"Clusters" are a P&C thing. That concept does not exist on the L&H side.

You can appoint directly with most Health Carriers.

You can also appoint through an Upline of some type (FMO/IMO/BGA).

An Upline is similar to a Cluster. But you have no production requirements and you can write business outside of the Cluster freely.

Using an upline can be helpful. They should be able to provide expertise, quotes, etc. And sometimes even offer better comp vs. a direct appointment. But that can vary.

Talk to a few uplines, see who feels right. Check with the carriers about a direct appointment, then compare comp and service.

Do you recommend a specific company?

Do you recommend a specific company?

Health Insurance is state specific. So most health focused IMOs are state specific. If you are in SC, message me and I can recommend a couple.

Im not familiar with any in other states. But post your state on here and maybe someone can help.

Also, often the regional rep from the carrier can recommend a good BGA to work with. So you might want to start with contacting the carriers first and asking the rep about BGAs they recommend.

This is what the response was from green leaf is this about average for the industry.
