Health Insurance Videos and SEO

I just completed my first insurance buying tips video and uploaded it to youtube.

Now what?

How do you use video to market your site, increase backlinks and traffic etc.?



By the way, making the video was pretty easy.

• I just set my flip camera on the two biggest books I could find (my study Bible and a PHP book)
• I put a mirror in back of the camera so that I could see what was in frame
• I adjusted the camera on the tiny tripod that I bought with the Flip camera (an optional accessory)
• I pressed record
• I pressed record again after I finished my little speech.

The flip camera comes with software that allows you to trim the ends of the video. The next time I do a video I'll pause after I sit up straight after pressing record. This way I can edit that out of the beginning.

Just a few observations.

Remove the picture behind your head.

Rehearse the script. Try to eliminate the pauses and "uh". Make it smooth. This is very difficult for most, to develop a smooth delivery.

Reduce the time of the commercial. Could be wrong, but I don't think folks are going to watch the full 5 minutes. Rather than trying to get everything in one commercial, consider breaking it up into 30 - 45 second bullets. If you go any longer, you better be funny and entertaining.

Rearrange the lighting. It appears you had a window on your left. Consider a reflector to balance out the right side but still keep the suggestion of natural light.

I think it is a great idea to place videos on your website and place them on youtube..

It takes balls to make videos and allow others to comment on it... GREAT JOB!!

Actually when she saw the video, she said that the headless bride was a little disturbing.
