This looks like it might be a popular plan... but in fine print it states that it's only for under 30 or have certificate showing exemption from the federal requirement.

Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

HHS rules. Under 30 or hardship only. Obama knows what is best.

Funny how rules change with this law, just saw this thread...........add "if your plan was cancelled and you get permission" to the list of eligible for catastrophic plan. Probably many in CA fall under this new HHS royal ruling.

Looks like they are still sorting this out. I was asked by Anthem to sit on all catastrophic plan requests for these folks "pending further guidance."
