That is some gimmick. I will be interested to hear how well it works.

"Oh look, Herb. Here is a site that donates $5 to Treehuggers Anonymous for every quote we get. I will get quotes on auto, home, life & health then when I am through you can do it too".

Interesting, the website says "up to $20 or more", not "up to $5". Does "up to" allow you to donate as little as ten or twenty cents?

On the only request form that I was able to see the phone number is not a required field. Do you intend on changing that?

I assume you will be selling these "leads", is that correct? If so how much will you charge for them if you are donating "up to $20 or more"?

Will you be sending notification to those who request a quote that the donation has been made and the amount donated?

I apologize I just saw response to this post, did not mean to ignore anyone.

Our prices are $8 per lead and in order to make donations manageable for us we donate $1 per agent that purchases a lead. We sell leads to up to 5 agents so if someone puts in an auto lead in an area where we have 4 agents then $4 gets donated to charity and yes we send a confirmation to the individual who put in the quote.

At $8 per lead you are certainly undercutting your competition. But shared leads suck. If I where to buy internet leads, id rather pay $40 for it to be exclusive. And obviously you have never called a shared lead who was totally pissed b/c they have 5 people calling them... they will forget all about the donations and be cussing your site after the barrage of phone calls... just my opinion though...

What charities will you be donating too? Does the individual entering the quote get to pick where their donation goes?
