Hello from Vegas and Everywhere in Between

New to the insurance game although I have been researching and reading, reading, reading since this past fall.
I am originally from Glasgow Scotland, spent most of my youth in Vermont. I have lived in New Hampshire, Conn, Mass, Florida, New Mexico, Arizona, Wisconsin and now after being laid off 3x in 6yrs in Mass I am in Vegas. I do not want to work for anyone else again.
I worked 15+ yrs as an adolescent psychiatric case worker (called the insurance companies a lot of names through that experience) lol and moved on to teaching. Have held several 2nd jobs over the years in sales.
I love to travel and have driven from VT-CA 3x with just the dog and from VT- key west 3x. My golden retriever is now 17 yrs old so we decided to settle down and take control of our future through self employment.

April, new to the insurance game also and living in Vegas. Spent 24 yrs in the Army and don't want to work for anybody else again either. What sort of insurance are you currently doing?

I loved (obviously) Ohio University's cakewalk over Georgetown last night. 9th seeded MAC team comes through. Crazy. Madness!

Life for sure but I'd like to add a couple of other things eventually.
Are you indie or captive?
How was the testing and who did you use for your study. This forum indicates that FMX is not ideal but I have been also looking at pro schools.
Are you a native to Vegas?
