Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mike R. and I am an independent insurance agent in the Metro Detroit area. Actually just getting back into insurance. Previous experience selling policies designed to fund pre-arranged funerals. Very successful at that, but got out for a few years. Excited to be re-entering the occupation, yet a bit anxious over the "uncertainty" of sales.

Enough - just wanted to say hi and see you on the boards.

Enjoy, learn a little and have fun. "Ass busting" is alive and well here and is definitely a good diversion from the hectic life of being an independent agent.

The sales are there, it just may take you a couple of weeks to get back into it. Kind of like riding a bike.

There is a wealth of expertise on the board, don't be afraid to ask questions. Even the "dumb" ones. Those are usually the ones we all learn from.
