Help! Client with Hepatitis C

Does anyone know of a health insurance company who will insure a 59 year old with Hepatits C in Texas?

If not; does anyone have a suggeston on where would you'd go from here?

I am new to Individual Health Insurance but I know HepC is an exclusion with Golden Rule (the only company I'm familiar with at this point)

Hep C is a decline, not an exclusion. Direct from the underwriting guide:

"Hepatitis C - Always Declined"

I have a client that had Hep C about 8 yrs ago, and Assurant accepted him, no rate up or exclusion. depends on timing of health issue

How do you have time to even contemplate working on a case like that? serious question. when I get those phone calls, I run away as fast as possible- or else I'm unemployed.

Sleep like a baby. Your post is comical! With commissions cut in half, do you have several hours to spend on a case like this, where you will not be paid? I am not a charity like the United Way. I get paid for helping my clients with sound advice and product implementation. If you indeed work on many cases like this on a routine basis, how do YOU sleep at night?
