Hey, how about a little help here? I will be getting some new business card soon. I do multi things and sad to say I have cards for my FE work, my group insurance work, and one that goes almost either way.

This new card is leaning a bit toward being a expert in life insurance sales. I have 20 plus years working with Life of Alabama. They need me to help some new agents get kick started in individual sales.

My own ideas include:

Individual sales manager

Expert ind sales director

Regional Life Sales Geru LOL!!!!

What say you?

Honestly, I don't think any of that kind of stuff matters. All that stuff is hype and nonsense anyway. I've seen guys fresh to the business with stuff on their cards like "national sales director" or "regional vice President" or "regional director" and stuff like that and at the end of the day they don't know a whole lot about the business.

I would look at Vista print for some of the templates and ideas they have and just run with whatever you think sounds and looks good.

Whatever you do don't do what JD says and put "builder" ;)

Those titles don't help nor hinder. The only thing, other than your name, number and business address that I would add would be "Helping Families With Life Insurance Since 1997" or something to that effect.

I have been playing with the idea of putting something along lines of this on my new cards, "Legacy Solutions". Thoughts... (That is not my brand, it will be placed below that.)

I agree with "it's all a bunch of hype". However, I am being asked to do the "HYPE" thing by my upline.

Tooting my own horn: I am very good at IND life sales. In my agency I write at least 15-20 times more than EVERYONE else in ind sales. Granted, my agency sales mostly group products. LOL!!!

Put a call to action on your business card regarding referrals. That way they're reminded every time they see your card on the fridge ;)

That's actually the best advice I've ever heard about business cards. Other than putting your phone number on it haha.

Everything else is fluff.
