I'm still pretty new to FE, but I was hoping to get some input from you guys....

I have a client that wants to buy a FE policy for their mom....something around $5k or $10k.

Her mom is 65 and is in nursing home because she has history of mental illness...bipolar. She's pretty heavy, but doesn't seem to have any other issues.

What are my options? I have contracts with Forethough, Monumental, Baltimore Life, Foresters, and RNA.

None of those will take her. No one will do immediate coverage for her. The best deal out there for here is to go with MoO's GI plan. You can't sell that, but you can help her enroll or just give her the number.

The question I have is if she is really in a nursing home or just a senior living center. There is a difference after all. I guess it all comes down to if she needs any help with her activities of daily living.

She isn't concerned with day one coverage and understands modified coverage.

Besides the companies I've listed that I am contracted with, are there any others?

I had read on here something about Vantis.

From what I've read, it takes several months to contract w/ them and the commissions are very low and subject to a chargeback within a year.

sounds like he wants to sell it himself, and get paid for it. nothing wrong with that. I respect folks who pass them on to mutual because it is good for the client, but understand why agents choose to sell a policy as well.

I believe the chargeback on the vantis plan is for two years. It might be for a year and a half, but it's certainly more than one year.
