Now, see? I KNEW there was a forum for the Insurance industry. I just had to find it.
Anyways, my name is Dan, and I'm a Florida Native. I am licensed in Life and Health. I am Marketplace Certified, and have worked in the industry for the last 2 years.
I am licensed in FL, GA, MO, AL, AZ, TX, OH, and MI
I'm hoping to find some good tips, as I am looking to move away from the FMO I'm associated with, and find my way to becoming completely independent.
( So far the FMO's I've dealt with promise much, deliver little, and keep the big chunks of money for themselves.)
I'm relatively young, (mid 30's) but I'm a strong believer in the "old fashioned" type of customer service. I believe in helping the customer first, helping myself second. I am not a pressure type seller, I'm an information based seller. I can't tell you how many times a customer has been (willfully?) misinformed by agents that either are incompetent or just plain greedy. This is done to the detriment of us all. However, somebody elses abused chargeback can become my loyal customer.
This philosophy gives me a *very* low chargeback rate. Currently this month it's (18 - 1, and the 1 was only a dental ancillary)
I look forward to learning from you all,
-Dan
