Welcome........ I think you will find Missouri a good state to sell in. When I was selling in multiple states, Missouri was one of the better ones. Maybe it was the "Show Me" with desktop share that did it!

Getting back in the biz for the 3rd time. Hopefully this time I'm mature enough to realize/understand that heading to the golf course to maybe run across a prospect is not a smart use of my time.

Quick Reader's Digest background---

In the industry in '93 with Combined in Colorado. The hokey-factor hit me within a couple of months and hooked up with IOF Foresters for a year+. Did pretty good with them but got tired of the captive constraints. Figured out that brokering had WAAAYYYYYY better contracts. (At this point insert the golf course issue. <sigh>.)

Fast forward to '03... back in the game with an NAA offshoot. F&G wouldn't underwrite sh!t (although they issued a cpap app almost overnight - go figure.) Got my non-res for Cali and moved out there and never really did anything with it.

In Missouri now for awhile - 'cuz I can't stand California... even though I will end up back there - and just got licensed again. Hooked up with an outfit that focuses on the health biz although my background is more life and senior. It's all good.

I've been lurking here for a couple of weeks. Lots of good stuff, for sure. Right now I'm still in the learning mode of who's a wacko and who's worth listening to.

I plan to grow into as much of a giver as a taker. Bear with me.

Yes it is a nice area... I experienced an acute case of culture shock coming here from SoCal.
