What insurance line are you using your telemarketers for? are you having them contact individuals or businesses. Once they get a lead how do they send it to you. Contemplating giving a telemarketer a try but I am still not sure.

Oh yeah, one more question. when they call someone do they say they are representing your company?
I've done it on FE, Medicare products, business health and a few other products not insurance related. I usually have the telemarketers upload the leads into a web based CRM I use, but we are also starting to do live transfers this week. If you're going to use a telemarketer, make sure you try it for at least a few weeks (even if it's just 20 hours/week) and spend time making sure that the telemarketer (or company if you go that route) really understand what makes a good lead and what isn't worth calling. As far as using the name of your company goes, I usually don't have them mention it unless the prospect asks. More often than not the person at the other end of the line doesn't care what company it is as much as they want to know what we can do for them. Send me a PM if you want more specific info.
