HMO Part C: The Good and Ugly

That article was written when they were Medicare + Choice plans, but they are now Part C of Medicare.

The Medicare Modernization Act of 2003 changed the landscape of plans, allowing PFFS plans to exsist. While HMO plans may still have some of the same points as they did in the past, their cost in most areas have dropped and usually the benefits have been improved.
 
so Midwestbroker, when you say "If it was up to the Democrats, we would have a single pay health system that would work great according to them"...Do you mean that you don't like or think that Medicare is a bad program?...
