Hi, I am an independent broker and am looking for a good underwriter/carrier for Hotel / Hospitality Policy.

Any recommendations?

This would be for the state of New York.

try Element22ins at the same time if you have access to QBE they are most likely the best in pricing also try with Westrope.

Thanks for your reply but I'm actually looking for the actual insurance provider (carrier) and not independent wholesale broker (i.e. Philadelphia)

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

QBE then will be the one to go

Philadelphia is a not a wholesaler. Their parent company is Tokio insurance, one of the largest insurance carriers in the world. They are good for hard to place policies.

QBE and PSMI part of Magna Carta companies , are both great.
QBE, UW is specialty agency in NJ.

I used Philadelphia as an example of a carrier and not wholesaler.

Because Philadelphia doesn't insure Small/Mid size hotels (under $50k in premium), I think I'm going with CNA.

Philadelphia doesn't write under $50K or hotels?

So that would be larger typically franchise hotels?

I am interested in Hotels what is a typical premium for a smaller hotel?

Travelers claims to have a program, I haven't used it but I have seen programs advertised on the Travelers Site.
