How long did it take after applying to get your license?

I live in VA if that matters and have a squeaky clean background check and DMV record. This is driving me nuts- the lady at the insurance bureau just said it ‘varies’ when I called to ask and that they ‘process them in the order received’. I applied for Health and Life & Annuities

I'll assume for simplicity that you passed the exam. Have you been appointed to any agency or company yet? i seem to remember that it took about a week after passing the exam for the Virginia site to have me registered. You can look on
Virginia State Corporation Commission and put in your agent number if ever in doubt
