How Long Do Employers Have To Keep Employees On Their Plans?

For how long must the employer keep an employee on the group plan in the following scenarios for large group and small group (may be different)?

1. Employee personal leave
2. Employee on sick leave
3. Employee disabled due to job-related illness or accident
4. Family leave (ie. childbirth)....I think that this is 12 weeks

I don't know your states law.

FMLA would be factor with the large group.

If it is small group then there might be state law the proceeds.
