I am returning to the health insurance profession after 2 years absense. Kept-up with CE's and currently hold a L & H license in my state. Clean background. Question: generally, does an appointment take nearly 1 month to process? Right now, my manager has me calling 2-4 month old leads. I warm them up. Manager sells. We are supposed to split commission at some point. Because I am not appointed, I cannot complete certifications to actually learn how to sell the product, after waiting nearly 1 month. Is this process normal? Meanwhile, my bank account is depleting by the day. 1099 contractor. Any and all responses are appreciated. Thank you.

No, it generally does not take anywhere near that long unless the carrier is backed up or there are other issues.

What carrier is it? I obviously don't know who your upline is but it sounds very fishy to me.
