How Many Claims Are Filed Each Year?

I am trying to find out how many auto claims and homeowner claims are filed each year. Any ideas?

Actually, I got a bit curious on this, so I did a little googling. Mind you, I wasn't that curious....

Don't know about claims, but apparently there are over 6,000,000 auto accidents a year.

Anyone want to go in with me to start a service and offer valuable information everyone needs to know when filing an accident claim, "secrets not shared by the insurance companies" for $5.

If only 2% respond that should generate $600,000.

Who wouldn't pay $5 to learn what every insurance company "does not want people to know"?

What would that be? I don't have a clue but it sure as hell sounds good.
