How many companies do you use on a regular basis? I'm using one at the moment and it works for me because I've gotten to know their guidelines really well so that when I go work I'm only looking for clients that fit their top tier underwriting profile. How does everyone else do it?

I only put business through 4 companies for FE but I mainly sell med supps. If you are focusing on FE I would think you would want more companies than what I have.

I use 4 mostly. RNA, Americo, AmCon and Mon. Those are in my bag that I carry into every home. In the car I keep a separate bag with AmAm, Foresters and 5 Star. I'm contracted with a few others but I don't carry them with me. if I can't write someone with those 7 companies then it's pretty much hopeless anyway.

Do you guys have different IMO's for different carriers or do you run it all through the same IMO?

Add liberty Bankers to the list that takes those SS debit cards.

5 Star was one of the few that takes them, but I hear the persistence on the business is not very good.

There is some other nice things with 5 star as well, like not having to do the POS interview. You can have the home office call later for it. RYN has that as well and I choose RYN for most of my competitive business along with Standard life and Casualty.

Who is RYN?

I use typically use Foresters, ACI, Monumental and Oxford. Foresters has gotten beyond ridiculous lately with their PHI, it's getting hard to justify using them at all.

Plus their SmartUL only has a 10 yr no lapse guarantee, so IMO it's not really suited for a FE client.
