How Much Book of Business Does a P & C Broker Need Before He/she

Good day, I've had my P & C license for over 9 years, It's only a couple years ago that I've decided to put my license to use.... Question, does anyone know how much book of business I'll need to be able to go directly to a carrier and skip the wholesaler.... I do a lot of property business(I'm also a Real Estate Broker).... I am afraid you are going toward a totally different business than real estate is. The approach i very different, with probably some exceptions.
