How to Set Yourself Apart from Other Agents

Is it bad to say that I don't know what sets us apart? I sell P&C and it is mostly our product that sets us apart. Allstate offers some packages that most other companies don't and we talk a lot about that.
I read something that said you should have a list of 10 things that make your agency unique so that if a prospect ever asks why they should do business with you, then you can tell them!

Robyn...with all due respect, this thread is about the Steelers, not how agents set themselves apart from other agents. So often, it seems new posters just try to "take over" a thread and hijack the subject.

So, if you don't mind...Oh. Wait a minute. This thread was indeed about agents and how they set themselves apart from others.

Never mind.

In internet age, one way agents can make themselves different from the rest is to have a website or blog to establish their internet presence and have more contact points with their customers.

OK question, how do you distinguish yourself from other agents?? what do you say? do? buy them? offer them??
let us in on what you do please:-)

1. Do the right thing by people.
2. Love helping people.
3. Love doing what you're doing.
4. Believe in the product your selling.
5. Do it every day with a passion.
6. Take time to live.
Do this and the rest follows.

Go Steelers!!!

One surefire way?

Learn your products!

Another one?

Provide better service, because with prices being set by the insurance companies, service makes the difference.

:1cool:
(I'm actually wearing a bandanna and shades today)
