Ahhh, but for the most part, P&C agents have much better stories....
Truth is, the 80% rule should NEVER come up. If it does, you didn't do your job upfront.

Hmm, in one of those rare moments, I'm going to retract my statement and agree with Agent Provocateur.
I went back and checked how the 80% coinsurance is applied. Hmm, while a quick read showed I was right, when I looked harder, turns out he was correct.

You need to ask your claims department this question. Not every insurance carrier pays out claims the same way.

I don't think you can write in an answer.
When I took the P&C test I had to answer the questions based on what the state called HO policies, even if the carriers were different.
