In today’s age of fast paced, e-mails, web pages, black berries, and computers we have somehow forgotten that we are suppose to be here for them. Don’t get me wrong I do use some of the technology that you had mentioned in your letter, but I don’t ask the prospect to go to our web site. I do believe the only way to not only get but keep a base is to let you customer know who you are. I also believe because of this got to go attitude is the reason a good percentage of agents are looking for a new income source after just relatively short period of time. The agent/agency that go to may not get as many contracts upfront but will keep and grow at a steady pace. The turtle always wins, and that along with a true need to serve will make for a long and profitable career.[/FONT]

That was just a little friendly butt busting since you are a "new kid on the block".
Building relationships and staying in contact with clients on a regular basis is what this business is all about for me. I still have clients I insured in the early 90's when agents use to be able to keep 100% of their commission for the life of the policy.
It is so much easier to keep an existing client than it is to go out and try to find a new one.

I have to assume that you appear not to give a damn because it is just us you are writing your posts to and it probably gives you enjoyment to do that.
I believe that when you communicate with either a client or prospect that you take the time and do have the skills and knowledge to send information in proper sentence form using the complete word that is spelled correctly.
I think you do it simply because you enjoy pissing people off who want to bust your ass about it.
