Brittney. I primarily hunt upland game. he was a great pointer, swimmer and retriever. I could run him all day. I retired him from the field 3 years ago. he was also a great family dog. I love the bread.

I have also owned three brittnies. I always loved their looks but they were pets not hunting dogs and a bit too hyper for me. I mostly used to hunt quail. I love bird dogs.

I've had a Brittney some years ago. You couldn't move him with a bulldozer when he was pointing!

I tried to train an Irish Setter one time. I finally decided it was a good day to let him off the leash. He started running. I've never seen him since. Stupid dog! They may actually be worse than poodles.

But very beautiful dogs. I also owned and Irish Setter once. They have been bred so much for show they have lost a lot of the hunter.
