Peter Gabriel's Genesis was like a different band in terms of style. But that may have been just a sign of the times because a lot of his solo stuff in the 80s was pretty "pop-like" too (like Genesis).
I'm always so impressed with artists and athletes how they can do so many different disciplines.
Just like Phil Collins, Dave Grohl was a drummer who just decided to become an accomplished frontman.
Like, I'm a good drummer but I can sing too? wtf?

I never check this thread but I'm glad I popped on today. I'm not as old as most Genesis fans but I've been a fan since I was 3. Got to see Phil and Genesis separately quite a few times in my life and there is nothing on the level of a Genesis show. Musicianship is higher than most bands and production beats a lot of them too.
You should stop working so much and hang out on this thread, then.
