I Want to Talk to my Kids Objection

I've been in the field for a couple months now and I'm finally realizing the evil that is be-backs! I feel like I deal with most objections very well but I just can't find anything to get past them wanting to talk to their children. It seems that every time that happens we enter the frustrating game of me calling them weekly and I never get the sale! I now realize how important it is to get the close on first contact. So my question is how do I get past this objection?? Thanks so much!

Most times it's a smokescreen objection. It got rid of the last guy and it's getting rid of you.

If it's real then I find that out early in the fact finding. If it's real then we need to get the kid{s} involved before we proceed with a presentation. I call them up right then if not there and if they can't come over then I will rescedule for a time that they will be present.

If it's real then none of the aboave is a problem. They want the kids involved and the kids want to be there. If they balk at this then it's not real. There is a another objection. It's almost always money. They would not need to talk to the kids if you were giving them the insurance.

If this happens sometimes then it's part of the job. Ditch the lead and move on. If it happens frequently then there is a flaw in your fact finding or presentation.
