If ACA is abolished, would some ACA premiums decrease?

Just try taking free crap away from people and there will be a revolt.
We are on the Titanic . It's sinking, but everyone wants to hear the band play.

Those people will still have to stand for reelection so they will not automatically rubber stamp everything he wants to do. They have proven that with the Gaetz nomination.
If taken away, they would still vote for trump and find a way to blame Biden and Kamala for it.

I just had a 5 thread back and forth email with someone who lost his OTC.

You would think they took away his new puppy.

I almost typed, "it's stupid toothpaste and you're a 67 yr old grown man, shut up about your OTC." - yet I did not.

"I'm sorry yes, it's disappointing. I feel so bad for you. Maybe next year little boy you'll get taxpayers to fund your bandaids."

according to some people on the forum, he would die immediately so it wouldn't even matter.

But the likelihood of the ACA being abolished is so low that its not even worth wasting time talking about it.

Plus it was the previous Trump administration that greenlit ICHRAs. That was actually a boon to ACA plans. I don't see Trump backtracking on GI, but changing the subsidy structure. The current method of means testing the subsidy is way to complicated. If they're going to apply subsidies it would be a whole lot simpler and make more sense to just base them on age.

In the case of a 61-year old healthy male without health issues, would it more likely be less than an exorbitant $800/mnth for a crap coverage? When I constantly see ppl with $0 premiums and coverage for maternity, etc, I can't help feeling like I'm being ripped off.
a 61 year old male may not qualify. They rejected people who hadn't seen a DR pre ACA. he will have health issues-everyone does in their 60s. His might be a TURP-still expensive.
