If You Like Your Plan You Will Be Able to Keep It

Re: "If You Like Your Plan You Will Be Able to Keep It"

I will say the Medicare Part D plans are confusing and difficult for seniors - not to mention the agents trying to help these folks. Narrowing down the plans might not be ideal for those already enrolled, but will be good for new entrants.

That being said, folks are going to be in for a rude awakening when it comes to their health insurance. Many will not be able to keep the plan they're on because it will no longer be compliant. And rates are heading up because people cannot choose which benefits are most important to them.

Yep, but lets not forget who designed that nightmare and the selling rules that go with it.(yes, I know this was a Bush administration thing but there is a commonality in what fed run systems look like regardless of president). Similarly the plans for/approved by Obamacare will be confusing and difficult and that will provide the justification to keep it all within their simplified process/exchange. Tis all a self-fulilling prophesy.

Way too many Part D plans out there this should have been done 3 years ago. I've seen some of the filings with the OIR for under 65 products here in Florida, rates aren't very much higher and the plans are very easy to explain and don't differ too much other than deductibles. Grandfathered plans you can keep.

Quite a contrast with Putin who is out on the sea firing at whales.
