Ignore Sub Forum Areas

Is there an option that I'm missing to ignore different sub forum areas or is that not possible?

Unwatch Forum is supposed to do just that.

Where exactly is that located? I didn't see anything in the preferences page and there is nothing showing in the WATCHED FORUM section. I assume that means I'm watching all forums then. The P&C Forum main page only shows a WATCH Forum button.
