Does anyone know of a company in Illinois that will take a 33 year old female with Krohns disease?

I dont know about Illinois but with most carriers, if it is active they won't take that risk.

No Individual (reputable) carrier is going to take on that risk.

FYI - Not to be the spelling police but it is Cronhs, in case you were trying to look it up in an underwriting guidebook.

Group or Risk Pool in Illinois.

Good thing. Otherwise I would have to write you a ticket.

    Actually, it is Crohn's.

As for reputable carriers, in certain cases Aetna and GR will write an insured with a Crohn's diagnosis.

    Check your underwriting guide.

Your Smoking a Crack Pipe!!!!!! If she currently has Crohn's and has had no operation, which most don't. She is automatic Decline. CHIPS is the best route for coverage for this individual.

    No crack.

    Read the underwriting guide.

I have one with GR, one with Aetna.

I have countless cases declined with GR and Aetna for CROHN'S

And GR is nice enough to draft 3 times during underwriting while they pend for medical records - clients love that.

If you get one through, it is extremely rare.
