Independent Agent Question

I have worked captively for American General for the last few years, I have been thinking about going independent for the new year and have been looking at a few different company contracts. Most of my questions have been answered just by reading the posts but one thing has me thinking, at AGLA we have access to saliva kits for field underwriting and contracted with several medical companies for physicals. My question is: How is this handled when you are independent, do you buy saliva kits yourself and use medicals in your area, and if you do is there ever a problem of approved companies?

YOu don't buy anything. You just call companies like EMSI, PORTAMEDIC , EXAM ONE, APPS and they do everything for you. Those are the big four and they already have most of the companies info to bill and take care of everything.
