I'm looking to go independent, and want to take the route of getting my own direct appointments (no clusters or groups). So being that going direct does put a larger production requirement on myself, I want to keep appointments to a minimum in the beginning.
I know Erie Insurance will grant access to all of their markets under their 1 appointment (personal, commercial, and even life), but I don't know of any others that operate this way. I know Travelers operates under 2 separate appointments (personal and commercial), and I don't want to go this route just yet until business is really picking up.
Are there any other carriers like Erie that will give personal and commercial lines under 1 appointment? What about Cincinnati, Liberty Mutual, or The Hartford?
