I have two clients who are interested in index annuities. I was just wondering do they advance on theses products.

Advance what? Index annuities are typically single premium.

However, more importantly, if you ask such an academic question, you should not be selling annutiies. Perhaps you should find someone (a GA perhaps) who can help you advise your clients properly.

Not putting you down for lack of knowledge. We all start somewhere. But you should be careful to not start with financial advice unless you know what you're doing.

We'd be happy to help your clients and still split the commission with you assuming it's a reasonable size case. A sale with half a commission is better than no sale with a full commission.....if you don't really know what you're doing with annuities, you could be putting yourself in a pretty tough position. Annuities have a lot of moving parts and if you can't answer your client's questions, it won't look very good. They can be difficult to explain to someone who doesn't know anything about them, especially if you don't understand the products that well yourself.

Advance commissions, I'm familler with rhe products because I've done alot of research on the product. I've just never looked into the commision.

As it was previously mentioned annuities are typically single premiums.

So you are NOTadvanced commissions. You are paid based on the premium submitted. I hope this helps.............

If you are talking about a single premium annuity, then as mentioned by others, there isn't any advance as you are paid against the single premium.

I am not sure about the depth of knowledge statement you made; perhaps it is related to the products and its features, but not how one is renumerated from a single premium ??

All the best to you.
