Can you use the carrier's logos you have access through noodle or appund on your agency's windows flyers etc?
I called both of them the one said yes the other no lol.
If the truth is yes do you make them yourself?

You really think their reps are going to care? I'd copy paste the logos and have my graphics/sign guy print them up on vinyl for me.

Worst case scenario...they tell you to take them down.

I would make sure you get written confirmation from your marketing reps first. An agent friend of mine, put them on his website without asking and some were pretty pissed. Some didn't care though it just depends. They are copyrighted so I would get permission first.

If you go to a carriers website and you can copy and paste it, then they dont care.

Everyone of my carriers has a spot inside their website that I can download the logo.

RBA, the OP doesn't have direct appointments though that's his issue. I'd use them until told otherwise. I think one of the clusters like Agent Secure has on their FAQs that you can't use the logos others may be different.

I would caution you against doing this without some kind of written OK, either a letter from the carrier or go to their website and see if they have placed their policy there.

A logo is either a trademark and/or copywrited work. What companies are most concerned about is either someone using their logo to confuse the market place, or the use of the logo somehow harmed the company. You should be ok with the confusion issue but if you did something that "harmed" the carrier, they could have a case.

It is always best to get their approval first. Try their websites, often times there is a section that speaks to this subject. If not, contact your rep via mail and ask for a written response.

But it can be very expensive to get forgiveness whereas permission is frequently free.

Messing with trademarks can be a costly affair. You have to have permission to use them.
