Just placed a 2,000,000 twenty year term on a Type 1 diabetic on insulin, A1C was 8, had a little glitch on cardio workup last August, 49 years old, Banner Std plus table 2.

Great work! Good info too. Banner is really leading the way in underwriting lately. I got a standard rate on a bipolar client with Banner last month who was declined and highly rated with other companies.

Type 2 diabetes is fairly easy to underwrite.

If it's well controlled with no other health issues you can get standard ratings from many carriers.

John Hancock and LFN can do Preferred.
