Don't confuse commission rates with profit range. Not even close to the same thing.

Average home commission is around 15-18% Average home profit, first year, is $0, about the same as auto.

This business is about renewals. Others will disagree with me, but when you run the numbers after the first year or 2 I won't be far off.

THANK YOU Dan. Yes, I wanted to mean commission, not profit.
I understand. First 1-2 years, no profit till I have enough book of business to cover the expenses and have extra money left that is called "profit"
