Is 18 Too Young to Start?

I think that you should give it a shot, especially if your dad will help you get started. It's a good way to find out if you would like to stick with sales as a post-college job too.

I worked 3 days a week in college, slinging Mexican food on a 12 hour shift. I'd come home with more money than I made at my first after-college job. But being a waitress is a job for the young.

Anyway, you could probably schedule classes so you have m/w/f or t/th open, or you could use the week-ends. I wrote a lot of policies on Saturday morning, believe it or not!

18 is not too young to start. You can do anything you put your mind to. If you want this bad enough you can do it.

to get a quarter keg in the fridge, you have to take all shelves out and cut out the door shelves. FYI. Make sure it's an old fridge you don't care about. It's a 5/8" hole you need to drill in the door to install the tap. You could probably make money installing these for fraternaties as well.

Doesn't hurt to have the license, so get it. Like others have asked, what are you going to sell? Statistics show that people tend to buy insurance from some around 5 years within their age, so think about that...who are your likely clients and who are not likely to be clients.

Hi, I am seventeen right now, and I was wondering if I could legitimately be an insurance agent at 18 years old after I get my license. My father is an agent and is willing to help and advise me. Is this a viable route to go during college?
Yes you can! my son did it right after his 18th birthday. He's 27 now and has more money than he knows what to do with!
