Is That So Hard to Sell Insurance...?

Sometimes we feel so hard to sell insurance...
I lives in Indonesia which growing country.
I join with Life Insurance for only 6 months, Trying to find a prospects...

But sometimes facing the hard situation.. Because lack of link, and the people also not yet realize how important to have insurance for them. :no:

But for the opportunity we still have a lot of opportunity, remember our country is big country, and not yet to many people take life insurance.. :)

Is there who already started earlier than me have any idea how to change their mind set?
I really love this business.. I can help people also i got income from what I'm doing... :biggrin:

It is hard anywhere in the world to get people to realize insurance should be a part of their lives. Usually the few times they think of life insurance are when someone else dies without it.

This is not an easy business, but keep at it.

I am sure your insurance company would have designed sales process and tools for insurance sales agents to follow.

Following the sales process may not guarantee that you will close every case, but you stand a better chance to succeed since the sales process is normally designed by incorporating ideas and experience from successful insurance agents.

Yes... we have a training every week..
sure i follow the training and helps a lot :)
I just think... maybe you guys may share more experience which is I not got from the training or friends.. :)
Is that not better we have many friends in same business and can share to encourage when the others are feel down... ;)

I could see your quest for more knowledge about insurance business. While insurance principles are generally the same all over the world, there are differences in many other aspects of insurance businesess such as sales approaches, products, market perception about insurance etc.

While it is good to learn what happens in another part of the world, there are things you learn that may not be applicable in the country you transact insurance business.

Now we know why all the major life insurers hirer their career agents as financial advisor-ish people.

But life insurance nowadays is an investment too. Unlike the old days that life insurance is really just life insurance.

You mean the old days before term, when your whole life policy had a cash value you could borrow against?
