Must be sun spots. I have been having a bit of intermittent feeds online today. I suppose this precedes El Nino...

Actually these are sun outages, when the sun's radiation interferes with satellites. It happens twice a year for about a week. Today it's been real bad, this is the first hour I've actually had Internet.

Here on planet Somarco we don't have those kind of issues. But then, we live underground so we have no idea if the sun is out or not.

It was REAL bad this morning. I booted up the computers and saw the connection running at .11 mbps...

Then it started turning on and off ever five minutes until a few minutes ago. It affected all of our comcast service here.

Maybe Obama should do something about that.

Many are superstitious about sun spots-- but meteorologically (is that a word?) speaking, severe weather often follows them. Batten down the hatches...
