Is There a Way to "bookmark" Specific Threads/posts?

I occasionally see threads/posts I'd like to return to later. Sometimes much later.

Is the a way to save/denote individual posts that I don't know about?

Thanks!

At the top of the page, just above where the actual comments start, there is a toolbar.

Under thread tools, you can 'subscribe' the the thread. This does 2 things, you'll get an email everytime the thread is updated, plus you can always list the threads you are subscribed to.

It's a great feature, though few use it.

Thanks, Dan - I do "subscribe' to threads occasionally, and I do like that you're "auto-subscribed' to threads that you personally comment on.

But sometimes I'm interested in threads I haven't commented on. And the daily updates aren't what I'm looking for, either.

I wish there was some type of "permalink" I could create to an individual POST I liked...

Hi Joe,

We also have permalinks that you may bookmark, for later reading/usage.

The post number you see on top right side of each post are actually permalinks.

Here is the screenshot..

Your post's permalink is: Is There a Way to "bookmark" Specific Threads/posts?

Notice, how it adds #postnumber to the thread URL.

Regards,
Val.
